WiFi slow lag raha hai? Pehle signal check karo — speed issue se pehle ye pata hona chahiye ki signal kitna strong hai.
Method 1 — Taskbar (Instant)
Look at the WiFi icon — full bars = good, 1-2 bars = weak.
Method 2 — Settings
Settings → Network & internet → Wi-Fi → properties — signal strength shown as bars.
Method 3 — CMD (Exact Percentage)
netsh wlan show interfaces
Look for Signal: — shows exact percentage.
| Signal % | Quality |
| 80-100% | Excellent — full speed |
| 60-80% | Good — normal use |
| 40-60% | Fair — buffering possible |
| Below 40% | Weak — move closer to router |
Why Signal Matters More Than Speed Test
A 100 Mbps plan on 30% signal performs worse than 50 Mbps on 90%. Fix signal first:
- Router ko center mein rakho — walls signal khaate hain
- Height matters — floor se upar rakho
- Microwave, Bluetooth devices interference karte hain
- 5GHz vs 2.4GHz — paas ho toh 5GHz faster
